When I was 7, my parents invested in a family photographer to take photos of us. The photos from that shoot still hang proudly on Mum & Dad’s living room walls some 20 plus years later. We’ve always loved looking back on them, remembering the special memories of pulling over on the side of the road, taking photos and getting our jackets incredibly dirty from leaning up against the trees.

The emotions I get from looking at these images is why I believe family photography is so important. Not only do the images serve to show you how life looked at a particular point in time, the actual act of taking the images creates special memories too. My approach to photography is to create an experience for you — so that you leave your session feeling refreshed, with memories created of an adventurous afternoon spent with your family

In 20 years time you’ll be able to look at the photos on the wall of your home, and fondly think back to this crazy, beautiful season of life, when we were the centre of our kids lives, and they were the centre of ours.
